There is also violence in the name of Hinduism (e.g. Malegaon and the pogroms in Orrisa and Gujarat) and Sikhism (e.g. the Dera Sucha Sauda episode) and caste (Gujjar violence) and lack of property rights (Singur.) The solution in my view is a little more selfishness i.e. rational self-interest. If Indians learn this lesson then India can progress otherwise it will continue to burn. May be Indian masses are a bunch of gutless and non patriotic suckers to vote for very selfish motives to bring such leaders to power, who bring a shame to the name of the country.
